The Art Cafe is a paint your own pottery studio. We have hundreds of items to choose from, ranging in price and style, with fun events happening all the time! Check back often to see what is happening and come visit us!

The Art Cafe's Hours Are:
Monday- 11am-7:30pm
Tuesday- 11am-4pm
Wednesday- 11am-7:30pm
Thursday- 11am-4pm
Friday- 11am-7:30pm
Saturday- 11am-6pm
Sunday- CLOSED
Once you arrive and pick your piece our staff will help you to grab your colors and get started. When your piece is complete we will glaze and fire it for you. Your finished work of art will be ready for you to pick up 3 days after you paint. Please plan accordingly and join us early in the week if you are vacationing.

What is the cost to paint at The Art Cafe?
Your total cost will include the price of the piece that you choose, and an $8 studio fee per painter per day. Gratuity optional.
What are the prices of our pottery pieces?
We have a HUGE variety of pottery pieces available to paint. Each piece is priced individually. Prices range based on the size and style.
What is the $8 studio fee?
There is a LOT of love and care that goes into getting your piece ready for you! The studio fee that is charged to each painter is to cover paint and materials and the glaze and kiln work required.
Please allow 3 days for your piece to be ready to pick up. If you are visiting the island and leave before your pieces will be ready, we can arrange shipping! (Pricing varies based on size and number of pieces)
How long will it take for my piece to be ready?
After you finish painting your piece it goes through quite the process! Each piece is glazed by hand and set to dry. It will then be individually and carefully strategically placed on stilts and make it's way into one of our three kilns. The kilns take 24 hours to warm up, work on your pieces and cool down enough to remove them. When your piece is cool it will be removed and dremeled to smooth down where it was stilted. Then, it is ready for you! We know and appreciate that you are anxious to see your finished artwork and we will do everything in our power to get it to you as quickly as possible!
Why does it take 3 days for my pieces to be ready?
We have a wonderful staff here at The Art Cafe! They are excited to greet you when you come in and happy to help you in any way throughout your experience. They are also the ones to clean up your mess and care for your piece after you leave. Our staff works very hard to ensure that you have a fabulous experience and appreciates gratuity at the end of your visit.
Is there a gratuity option?
The Art Cafe is truly a memorable and fun experiences for everyone! We have painters every day from all ages and ability levels. We do not have a minimum or maximum age. EVERYONE will love it!
What ages will enjoy The Art Cafe?
You do not need to be an artist to come to The Art Cafe ... and are welcome if you are! It's up to you how you want your piece to look and we are here to help you along the way. If you are looking for inspiration we have books and inspirational pieces around the shop. You can also check out our Pinterest boards for more ideas and to see past work.
Will I still have fun if I'm not an artist?
Our wonderful staff is here to help! Please let us know if you have any issues and we will work hard to make your piece look amazing.
What if I make a mistake and 'mess up' my piece?

Do I need a reservation?
We accept cash and all major credit cards.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Yes! Your pieces will be perfect for food and safe for the dishwasher. Of course, we recommend hand-washing your pieces - simply because they are so special!
Will my pieces be food and dishwasher safe?
No. Our paints all wash out easily. We do have smocks as well if you want extra security!

Kids Night Out at Art Cafe
Kids Night Out is a BLAST!
You and your kids will LOVE Kids Night Out! It is held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:45pm-7:15pm* (by reservation).
*Only available in the summer months and for groups by appointment. Call for details.

You and your kids will LOVE Kids Night Out! It is held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:45pm-7:15pm* (by reservation).

Each child will get to paint two pottery projects of their very own and get a delicious dinner. The kids can be dropped off at 5:45pm and picked up at or before 7:15pm. Their masterpieces will be ready to pick up two days after they paint. The cost for this wonderful evening is $42 dollars per child which includes dinner, their pottery pieces and tons of fun!
